Fishing
To fish at RBSRA you must possess a valid Wisconsin Fishing License if you are 16 years of age or older. Click here to see regulations. You may fish on Wolf Lake or at the Urban Fishing Pond (located near the Visitor Center).
Urban Fishing Pond
Urban fishing waters are small lakes and ponds under 25 acres that are intensively and cooperatively managed with a municipality. They are posted with signs, have special regulations, and their shoreline is accessible to the public. Urban fishing ponds have a year-round season with no length limits. However, from early March thru the end of April only children 15 years of age and younger and certain disabled persons may fish in those ponds. (Check current regulations for this year’s dates).
They have a daily bag limit of three (3) trout, one (1) gamefish (largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, walleye, sauger, and northern pike), and ten (10) panfish (bluegill, crappie, pumpkinseed, yellow perch, and bullhead). If you plan on keeping trout and are 16 years of age or older, you must have an inland trout stamp as well as your fishing license.
